I can't believe that Marlee is a year and a half old! Such a big girl...growing and learning everyday! We went for her checkup and she's doing awesome with growth and development. Only weighs in at 24 lbs...tiny tot! ;) There was still a little fluid in her ears, so she's back on antibiotics to fight an infection, but no fever this time. Hope she's all better soon!
Bebe and Gramps (who she finally calls "Mamps"!) came to visit last weekend. They even went to playdate with us on Friday morning. We went out to eat and played a lot! Dave has been working tons of overtime, but is finally off this weekend...it's been nice to have him here on weekend mornings for the first time in a month! We've been knocking stuff off our to-do list (cleaning, taxes, etc.), and we are having friends over today (Jade, Jules, Mal). :)
Looks like we also might get to go to Centre for the first time since xmas this next weekend! Jon and April should be there, and my parents have lots of loot to share from Mardi Gras in New Orleans this year. We listened to zydeco music, made red beans & rice and ate king cake to celebrate at home. Sad we missed out, but hope to go again maybe next year, and can't wait to take Marlee soon. Can't believe it's almost March!
I need to figure out the best ways to get pictures on here...so much more difficult not having my own computer. Oh well! Looking forward to spring!
