Officially a 27 year old pregnant wife of a musician I am...

My b'day was Feb. 1st and I turned 27. I handled it well this year, I guess because we are trying to fulfill a dream/goal (having kids), but last year I didn't handle 26 so well. This year it snowed a few days before my birthday, and schools were closed and roads were hazardous on my b'day, so I got to hang at home with my hubby. He cooked for me and we watched a movie. It was very relaxing, which was so nice!

I got a little stressed today because of cramping and spotting, which happens to some people with no alarm, but I can't wait for our appt next week so that we know what's going on for sure. I really hope it's nothing serious. The doc says that many women call around weeks 7 to 10 about this issue, so it sounds common. We'll see....happy thoughts!

One of our very favorite TV shows "LOST" came back on last night, it's the last season :(, but it's so good :). We own the 1st season, and hope to own all 6 one day on dvd.

The groundhog saw his shadow yesterday, so that means 6 more weeks of winter...I think we expect that around here the ways things have been going = COLD!

I'm going to go get warm...can't wait for Spring!

Cramping and bleeding happened to me too, right after my first OB appointment. My doctor did absolutely nothing to make me feel comfortable about it. I sought a second opinion! The first doctor said "implantation bleeding" but 6 weeks is too far along for that. The second doctor asked if I had a pap smear, which of course I did the previous day at the OB appointment. She did an ultrasound to make sure everything was okay. Made me feel so much better! Scary, right? Glad everything was okay with you!
